Yes, it is possible to rent Cavok Digital Asset Management in the form of an on-premise version. This rental option is on a monthly basis and the cost is the same as a purchase license divided over a period of 36 months. There are no additional fees and this is not a 36-month contract. Instead, you have full flexibility to cancel the contract on a monthly basis if you wish.

With Cavok's SaaS versions, Cavok and all data are stored in a German data centre, hosted by PEAK-14. Cavok Light is offered as a shared instance. Here, the computers in the data centre are used by several customers at the same time. Storage capacity, RAM and CPU of the hosting server are divided among all users. A shared instance is therefore cheaper than a completely dedicated server for only one customer. With a dedicated instance, the server and all resources are available to you alone. A shared instance does not mean that others have access to your data. It is only the resources that are shared. Your data is secure and can only be accessed by you.

In any case, we recommend user training and special training for administrators. We offer the training as online seminars so that employees from different locations can easily join in. Additional training may be required, especially for complex processes. In addition, we offer a series of tutorials to help you get started using Cavok, which are aimed at less regular users.

Yes, it is possible to extend the storage space of the Cavok SaaS versions at any time.

With Cavok Light, user administration can be used via the Cavok web interface. Here, new users can be added and assigned to the respective rights group. Smaller adjustments such as inserting your own logo or adapting the start page are also possible in Cavok Light. For further adjustments as well as your own definition of user groups, access to the separate administration interface is necessary. This access is available for both SaaS and on-premise. Groups, views and rights can be managed here. It is also possible to customise the CSS in the backend to give Cavok an even more individual look. On-Premise, you also have the option of making hardware-related changes yourself, such as increasing the RAM. With SaaS, this is only possible with the agreement of PEAK-14.
