The new mobile user interface of the cavok digital asset management system is clear and intuitive. Searching and finding files as well as browsing through individual documents is very easy with the cavok mobile client, even on small displays. Of course, it is also possible to upload files and assign metadata via smartphone or tablet. There is no need to download another app to your mobile device, you can simply access cavok via your standard browser.

Inherited metadata save time

With version 4.3 of the cavok digital asset management solution, you can now attach individual metadata not only to individual assets but also to folders and categories. These metadata are automatically inherited by all files contained therein. This means that an asset can be given many different metadata simply by assigning it to different categories, without having to add them manually. In the detail view of the asset, you can choose which category or folder metadata you want to see. This gives you a better overview, especially for images that contain multiple products. It also saves you time when tagging.

NAS system as DAM file server creates cost savings

Synology NAS systems are reliable and relatively easy to set up and manage. With version 4.3 Synology NAS systems can be used as file servers for the cavok digital asset management solution. This allows you to easily set up cavok without changing existing structures.
